As we move into the Fall and the holidays begin to loom, so often taking time to take care of ourselves is an activity pushed to the back burner.However, it's impossible to be fully present with others unless you first take care of yourself. Remember during this busy season to make a few minutes for yourself. Self-care can include something as simple as taking a leisurely walk, reading a favorite book, having a cup of tea, or attending a yoga class. Even taking ten minutes from your day to practice "Legs Up the Wall" can help you to relax and unwind. When you're planning your next few months, make sure to plan in some "me" time and we know you'll see a difference in your interactions with others.
