Join us again this year for another tournament weekend filled with great competition and fun times. Downtown Mckinney, Texas, is filled with amazing food, breweries, wineries, an arcade, ax throwing, plus a mahjong parlor. What more can you ask for? Competitors will receive a goodie bag full of treats, a commemorative t-shirts, and more. Free play will be available Friday - Sunday evenings and make sure to save time for eating some of the best BBQ in Texas.
The top 4 finishers will receive their tournament fees covered for the next North Texas Riichi Open, plus trophies. This tournament is ARA ratified and a World Riichi League Major tournament for the 2026 season.
For travel, DFW & Love Field are the closest airports. We will have a small amount of volunteers picking up people from the airport. The DART Silver Line from DFW will also get you to Plano where you can be picked up or Uber is always an option. We are located about 30 minutes from the airports.
